Bing “Bird’s Eye” images

3

Bing Bird's Eye images are potentially very useful - one could judge building hieights, look at walls and fences more easily, and generally augment the Bing aerial images that are available in ID and JOSM.

Are the permitted for OSM use?

note that there are also other allowed aerial imagery sources available; have a look in the aerial imagery/backgrounds menu in your favourite editor - see for a discussion find-most-recent-imagery-for-a-given-place.

Sadly, as far as I know, no.

Also https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Bing_Maps mentions "Fixed imagery is available as Bird's Eye view in Bing's map but it is not allowed to use as source in OSM"
